Fees vary according to the scope and complexity of the project.
As a general rule, for online content I’ll charge £20 for 500 words (£0.04 per word). So an 800 word article would cost 0.04 x 800 = £32.
However, this all depends on the concept, size and timescale of the project and is something I will discuss with clients on an individual basis.
For example, press releases and articles that appear in print will be more costly than online blogs and news articles, in line with industry standards.
I will consider discounts for regular clients and large orders. I will also consider guest posting for FREE on popular travel blogs and sites.
I can pay less elsewhere – why should I choose you?
Sound expensive? In my experience, you get what you pay for. You can pay a casual freelancer $5 for an article – but you can’t expect well-researched, high quality and optimised copy designed to engage readers, drive traffic to your site and ultimately work towards increasing your conversion rate. With such low rates, the focus is on volume not quality. Would you be happy publishing an article a disinterested freelancer raced to put together in 15 minutes? Can you afford to have sloppy content associated with your brand?
I am a qualified writer, editor and proofreader – feel free to request my CV or check out my LinkedIn page. You can also hop back to my About Me page to see who I’ve written for in the past, take a look at my portfolio or browse testimonials. In addition to my professional expertise, I have a wealth of travel experience and knowledge that is constantly expanding as I journey into my fourth year of what started as a three month backpacking trip.
Once a figure has been agreed, you can either pay the entire amount upfront or – if you’ve placed a large order – request to be invoiced for a 50% deposit upfront (to be paid promptly) and pay the outstanding amount once the content has been delivered, reviewed and revised if necessary (to be paid within 14 days).
- I accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal
- Initial review of materials should take place within one week of delivery
- Clients are responsible for the final review and approval of all materials submitted for publication, and as such bear full responsibility for any errors or omissions in the copy
In summary, whoever you are I’d love to work with you. Ping me an email at email@example.com or send me a message using the contact form and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
