It all begins with a FREE five minute Skype audio consultation designed to give you a feel for how it all works. You have an opportunity to test the waters and decide whether travel coaching is for you and I have a window to determine what you’re hoping to get out of this experience.
If you decide to pursue a travel coaching session with me after this initial consultation, I will email you a detailed questionnaire to complete in the next 7 days. Write as much as you like – this is what I will use ahead of our time together to provide a bespoke coaching session that is tailored to your individual needs, goals and concerns.
Once you’ve returned your questionnaire, we will organise a date and time that works for you and schedule a one-on-one Skype conversation (audio call or instant messenger, whichever you prefer) where I’ll address any issues flagged in your questionnaire and any other questions you might have.
Calls will last for around an hour and I charge a flat rate of £50 – that’s €55, US $65, AUD $85 or 7,500 Japanese yen! I welcome people from across the globe to get in touch. The only thing I ask is that you have a good grasp of the English language – I speak basic Spanish, even more basic French and three words of German! And I can say custard tart in Portuguese (always good to be armed with the essentials). Where was I? Oh yes – that rate includes thirty minutes of instant messenger support after our Skype call, just in case you forgot anything or still have questions. I’ll also throw in a FREE pre-travel checklist which includes handy things like which vaccinations you’ll need and checking your credit cards won’t expire halfway through your trip. Any subsequent Skype sessions will cost £40 per hour, whether that’s before, during or after your travels (deals can be arranged for regular callers).
All payments should be made in full after your initial consultation, should you decide to pursue a coaching session with me (you can take as long as you wish to decide). I accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. Once I’ve received payment, I’ll send out the questionnaire and we’ll go from there!
In exchange, I’ll share the huge amount of knowledge I’ve amassed about long-term budget and solo travel in the past three and a half years. I’ll teach you how to find cheap flights, free accommodation and the best hostels. I’ll tell you what not to pack and why you should ditch the itinerary. I’ll explain which apps to download and how to stay safe on the road. I’ll provide personal recommendations where I can and reassure you that this trip will be the best thing you’ve ever done.
Above all, I will inspire and empower you to travel; to take the first steps into a journey that will sculpt you into a strong, confident and independent world traveller.
