My role as news journalist, features writer and editor in my first job out of university (before I quit to go travelling, of course!) saw me create content for the likes of easyJet, Thomas Cook, Viking River Cruises, Asda Travel Money and Flybe. Unfortunately, since I wrote for agencies rather than direct clients, much of my work is inaccessible. However, here is a list of freelance clients who I am either currently writing for or have written for in the recent past!
A big hello to the newest client on my books: Live2Leave!
Launched in May 2017, the popular Live2Leave travel app is home to a highly engaged community of travellers aged 20-35. The app gives users the opportunity to record their favourite hotels, restaurants and activities, share these to their personal feed and view recommendations from a trusted community of friends and local experts. I am very pleased to announce that I will be creating content for the #inspireme section of their brand new website. Watch this space!

In addition to blogs and features I can also turn my hand to news. Again, much of the travel-oriented content I’ve produced in the past is unavailable, but here are a couple of articles I’ve dredged up from days gone by to give you an idea of how I can adapt my writing style for news feeds.

According to @jet_plane_jenny, the climb to the top of Mount Tomaree in @portstephens was "worth every step", and we'd have to agree! The Tomaree Head Summit Walk is a must-do if you're heading to this part of @visitnsw, so be sure to put a couple of hours aside. From the top, you'll get unparalleled views of several nearby islands, as well as the lovely Zenith Beach and even all the way out to Point Stephens Lighthouse on Fingal Island. My photos have also been displayed on the login page of the University of Leeds Portal and VLE. I am not only passionate about photography but also really enjoy getting out and about and exploring the world with my camera. Currently all photos are taken on my iPhone or my compact Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ35 with a 20x optical zoom Leica lens.
